Sunset on the Hardesty Farmstead

This is the barn from the farm that my mother grew up on near Caldwell, Kansas. It's pretty
worse for wear. The house is gone. This barn, an old chicken coop and a
metal round building are left.

This is our first attempt at doing sunset photos. We arrived later than
I wanted so we were scrambling to get set up. We also realized that we
had left the tripod attachment at home so we had to improvise with the
tripod. We managed to get a couple of ok shots. I'm planning on
returning to get some more photographs.

This is part of my family heritage and I want some memories before it's
gone. And yes, my grandmother was Chekoslovakian/Bohemian.
